Juliana Grace was born on May 24, 2012 at 10:22pm, weighing 6 lbs 11.5 oz and 20 inches long. Look at her head of hair! Everyone commented on how much hair she had and how long it was. And, it only grew thicker and more beautiful. I think I only saw one strand fall out. I, too had a full of head of hair when I was born. Its true what they say about having heartburn when pregnant...it means a full head of hair on baby. A perfect delivery as far as deliveries go. My water broke at 5am that Thursday morning. By 6am, I was in the hospital and ready to see by babygirl. It took 7 more hours before we decided to speed up the process and another 8 hours before Juliana was here. Our second night in the hospital, I went to get her when she was in the nursery for a short time. All those babies crying, while Juliana was lying there...eyes wide open...quiet and simply taking it all in. Such a perfect baby. She did not like to be swaddled up. Instead, Juliana always slept with her arms up near her face with her fists in a little ball, and her legs spread apart. You can see her in many pictures with this pose. She took to the pacifier quickly. Her purple one was her favorite. A true blessing... Juliana Grace, was and will always be loved by her family.
